If you can afford the hefty hotel fees (between $300 and $1,100 a night in the high season), it might be worth it to stay over and enjoy a full spa day at the Chandara. Start with a morning swim in your own infinity pool (all the pool villas have them) or a dip in your hottub. Then head to the spa for a massage in one of the eight private "villa treatment rooms." You can choose from aromatherapy, Thai or Swedish massage, all performed by professionals. Whether you want to relax or need a strong massage after a day of water sports, the spa won't disappoint. The spa has a separate beauty shop, where you can get a manicure or pedicure to end the day. The resort's restaurant offers a good selection of healthy food, ideal after a day of pampering.
