Description:
The Phuket Philatelic Museum, which also happens to be the Post Office Museum, is a rather unique place. Some of the items that make up the collection doesn't seem worthy of museum space. For example, there are wood tables, old telephones and some scales --None of which is particularly old. The museum does have a nice collection of stamps as well as a detailed history of the postal system in Thailand. Visitors can also browse through the gift shop, where they'll find one-of-a-kind stamps and collections for sale.
