Seniors 65 and over ski free every day!
Tabor Mountain Ski Resort's popularity is gained from its deep powder and unhurried atmosphere, as well as its proximity to eastern B.C.'s largest city, Prince George. Located 15 minutes east of the city on Highway 16, Tabor Mountain is popular year round as a skiing, mountain biking, hiking and wildlife viewing location.
The mountain features 180 acres/ 70 hectares of skiable terrain, with 13 runs and a vertical drop of 800 feet/ 244 meters. The longest trail is just under 2 miles/ 5 km long, and night skiing is available after January 1.
The dozen or so cross country ski trails that link the ski area are used during the summer by bikers and hikers and are popular for wildlife viewing. Hikers and bikers are cautioned to come prepared for inclement weather and remote conditions at all times. This is North B.C., after all, and its best feature is of course, its rural nature.
