NileGuide Expert tip:

There are two museums with almost the same name, but they ain't the same. Though they both house the collection of a man named almost the same, this is bigger and has more collection objects, while the other one (Museo Jose Luis Bello y Zetina) has more european paintings and sculptures.

Description:

This museum houses the collection of 17th, 18th and 19th century paintings, furniture and local arts gathered by Mariano Bello. The museum is named after his father Jose Luis Bello y Gonzalez.
The house itself is worth visiting, but the art collection in it makes it even more special. One of the most beautiful rooms in the house is the Talavera one, filled with displays cabinets with Talavera samples from several centuries. The room itself is covered in Talavera.
The small stair with a tiffany stained glass ceiling is almost unbelivable. The rich art collection and the recent building restoration have made of this one of the most beautiful museums, and certanly one of the most important ones, in Puebla.
