The Blue Chairs resort is probably the most famous of Puerto Vallarta's gay hotels. Catering to the gay and lesbian community, the Blue Chairs is located directly on Los Muertos beach. The property has 43 units, a mix of rooms and suites. It also hosts the beach club, which you can find by the rows of blue chairs on the beach. They frequently host parties and events at the rooftop pool.Some of the rooms have been remodeled and received positive reviews but overall the reviews of this property are mixed. The main reason to stay is the location, right on the gay beach and within walking distance to the shops and galleries of the Romantic Zone. There are, however, many similar properties to choose from. The main complaints are with the quality, not the service. The beach club is available to guests and visitors, many of whom will arrive early in the morning to stake out their spots for a day of people watching and sunbathing.
