Reykjavík Attractions

If you're in Iceland, you're here to explore and see what the masses seldom get to see, experience and live because they're too lazy to get off the grid of mass human culture. But then again, those things would ruin Iceland, wouldn't they? The Northern Lights, natural hot springs, thermal beaches, exploding volcanoes and lands that look as wild as something from another world, Iceland is for the person who gets off the plane, jumps in a 4x4, drives up a mountain and camps there for the night. Oh, it's rugged alright, but if you stick around town in Reykjavik, it's more like Scandinavia, where one can party till 4 a.m. with the sun still lighting the horizon, and the drafts still freely flowing. Take a sailing tour or a airplane tour to get perspective on the whole thing. Iceland is a whole other animal.
