La Esquina attracts a friendly crowd of locals and tourists, making it a good spot to meet new people

Since in opened in 2011, this Lapa eating and drinking establishment has proved a major hit with the neighborhood's party-hard crowd.
Packed to the rafters at weekends, the La Esquina offers a vast range of cocktails (pick from the menu or ask the bar tender to mix your preferred choice of booze and fresh fruit) and a menu that takes in dishes from countires such as Spain, France, Brazil, Greece and Chile, to name just a few.
The tortilla of potato, chorizo sausage and Brazilian queijo coalho is a popular choice, while the plates of olives, cheese, ham, quail egg and breads is a great option for sharing with friends over a few drinks.
