Fairpark & Airport
The Salt Lake City International Airport is located just five miles northwest of the City Center, adjacent to the residential communities of Jordan Meadows and Poplar Grove, Utah's State Fair Park, and the Great Salt Lake. Although mostly a residential area, the Airport area features a string of hotels catering to the business travel as well as The Red Iguana, Salt Lake's most notable Mexican restaurant frequented by the likes of famous musicians such as Los Lobos and the Counting Crows.
