Apart from being housed on San Diego State University's campus, this large indoor arena welcomes internationally acclaimed musicians, performers and sports events year round in the recently renoved Viejas Arena. Formerly the historic Aztec Bowl, the Viejas Arena can be crowded as its entrance is shoved between overstocked dorm rooms and grassy knolls prone to lazy students. Still, for a full arena experience, the Viejas Arena can't be beat - large seats, crowded screaming fans and hot musicians are entertain at the venue, where performers like Green Day, Death Cab for Cutie, Neil Young and of course, the Aztec Basketball teams perform.
