Though mostly a residential area, this neighborhood to the north of Cerrillos Road follows the Santa Fe River west of the plaza and St. Francis, the city's main north-south thoroughfare. West Alameda's park and restaurants offer a glimpse into day-to-day life for average Santa Feans.
