This hotel faces leafy Cerro Santa Lucía, the smaller of two iconic hills in Santiago, and the spot where the city was founded. It has good museum, café and metro access. The hotel hasn't been updated terribly recently, but if you don't care for your room, the concierge can change it. There's a decent restaurant upstairs with a nice view of the neighborhood, and the hotel is next to a smoky piano bar for those who don't like to wander far from home for a little entertainment.
