An often praised Middle Eastern restaurant, Chutney's features both Indian and Greek home cooking. Open for both lunch and dinner, it is run by a husband and wife team, Ash Shukla and Denise May. The couple takes turns cooking and serving. Enjoy their lamb, their peanut chicken, or chicken kabobs, moussaka and pastichio, or lamb vindaloo, gobi matar and vegetable curry. Pick the Middle Eastern Combo and you can choose two dishes from each side of the menu – Greek and Indian. Or try a $5.95 Greek gyro, topped with salad and yogurt sauce Their falafel, a vegetarian delight with salad and creamy tahini sauce also costs just $5.95. Koo Koo is a healthy pie made with spinach and eggs, served hot, with a yogurt chive sauce. Spanakopita consists of layers of filo pastry filled with feta cheese, spinach and "secret spices", then baked. Their pitas are handmade.
