Lockwood Table Cafe is the newest addition to Cedros Design District, and thank goodness for that. Feeding the area's designers and shoppers alike, the Lockwood Table Cafe is hidden behind some of the street's most unique art galleries and designer stores where the sandwiches are piled high. Specialty everything is on the menu - don't think you can get a plain and simple turkey sandwich here (though surely if that's what you wanted, they would make it for you) - as diners nosh on roast beef, gorgonzola, red onion, grape on country bread in "the granados" or portabella mushroom, red onion, roasted red pepper, pepper jack in "the conquest." The menu is refined but hearty and fills up lunch goers year round.
