"There is a fun little cafe on the top floor of the photography museum Fotografiska but Junibacken and Gröna Lund might be more age appropriate."  See More

"Take the boat from Slussen to Gröna Lund/Djurgården or take the bus to charming small coastal towns such as Vaxholm or Gustavsberg."  See More

"Gröna Lund is an amusement park and also has quite a few bands playing in the evenings."  See More

"As mentioned, Mariefred is a great choice. Rent a car or go there by boat or train. Great food at Gripsholms Värdshus and Gripsholm Castle is well worth a visit (make sure to look at the badly stuffed lion - it's hilarious!) From Mariefred you can go by boat, train or car to Taxinge Slottscafé AB (small castle with a café that claims to have the widest selection of cakes and pastry in all of Europe. They also have a beach). Boat trips in the archipelago is as mentioned another great day trip. If you do not wish to go that far, Fjäderholmarna is a great option. Small island really close to Stockholm, accessible by boat. In mid June it will probably be quite warm. Make sure that you go for a swim somewhere in Stockholm! This is one of the greater qualities of this town: the water is so clean that you can go for a swim right in the middle of the city. Best beaches are Oxhålsbadet (a bit of but less crowded), Tanto strandbad (nearby metro station Hornstull. It's recently renovated with new docks and has a sandy beach) and Långholmens strandbad (just by the old prison of Långholmen). There are several other places as well. If you have a car or are willing to travel by bus or metro there are plenty of options. This website lists all official beaches in Sweden: !"  See More
