Conveniently located next to the ferry terminal at Manly is the Bavarian Beer Café. Hop off the ferry and break up the walk to the beach with a coldie from a long list of German beers served in traditional steins. Of course some cured meets or brat wurst (grilled sausages) and cold sauer kraut are a must for lunch. Chicken schnitzel is dipped in yoghurt and Emmenthal cheese, baked and served with a green salad. Enjoy with a flight of beers – a paddle for you to try.
