Try the Prison Plate ($18). In prison, there is no option.
If you are looking for a place with attitude, this is your restaurant. "A good place for bad people", El Capo serves up Latin American soul food from grits, ceviche to pork belly and donuts. Pine tables, mismatching school chairs, huge paintings of guns and knives are sprawled on the wall as well as stacks of one dollar notes as stools. You won't know how to react to it all, but the vibe of good times and good food is there. The menu is perfect for sharing, there's a great mix of entrees, mains and desserts however, it is Latin American food, so if you're not a fan of spice, you might find yourself sitting this one out. Set in the heart of funky Surry Hills, El Capo is one original setting bursting at the seams with attitude and style.
