People come to Forty One for the views over Sydney Harbor, which are amazing from up here in the clouds – the restaurants is situated on the 41st floor of The Chifley Tower. The food is also impeccable, prepared by well known Frenchman Dietmar Sawyere, the same chef who runs the (highly recommended) Berowra Waters Inn. Forty One oozes money – so don't come here if that is not your style: there is a Japanese garden, and the décor is very fancy, the walls made from Tasmanian rainforest paneling set off with black and white photographs. Open for dinner from Monday to Saturday from 6:00pm and for lunch from Tuesday to Friday from 12 noon.
