Description:

45 Pub, named after its street address (handy after a long night of drinking) is a super-casual dive bar with nightly happy hours and drink specials. While located near the student hangouts surrounding Taiwan National University, 45 Pub draws a much more diverse crowd. Popular with expats, the pub has plenty of table and booth seating (if you arrive early) as well as a pool table.

The worn wooden interior, cheap beers and western-style grub make this a good choice for a laid back night with friends.

When looking for Pub 45 for the first time, keep your eyes peeled for the stairwell marked by a tiny sign on the first floor of the building. It's easy to miss, but once you're inside, the bar is much bigger than the exterior suggests.
