My Place opened its doors in 1975, making it one of the oldest pubs in Taipei and has become an institution in the city. Located near the Imperial Hotel, My Place is a popular hangout for foreigners passing through as well as the expat community. Service is friendly, food is decent and drink prices are about what you'd expect from a western-style bar in Taipei.In addition to the usual beer, wine and cocktail list, My Place has a decent selection of whiskey, including six single malts for the discerning connoisseurs. Food ranges from local specialties to pizza, burgers and bar snacks.
Happy hour is from 6:30 to 9:30 with NT $100 selected beers and 30 percent off other drinks. Tiger beer is NT $100 after 9:30.
My Place is under the same management as On Tap.
