Built in 1907, Convocation Hall was inspired by buildings at the Sorbonne and at Oxford. It is a large domed rotunda, part of the University of Toronto's St. George campus, and serves as the university's primary convocation venue. It seats up to 1,700 people and also serves as a classroom and concert hall, as well as hosting social and academic functions.
