This lighthouse was built in 1902, during the Porfiriato, and it still houses the administration offices of the Mexican Navy. In here, the project of the Political Constitution of the United States of Mexico (that's the full name of Mexico) was debated.In here you can, beside admiring the beautiful Porfirista (the architecture of the Porfirio Diaz dictatorship), visit the Venustiano Carranza Museum. In it you can find objects, documents, pictures and personal items of President Carranza, who in 1914 stablished in Veracruz the Nation Government.
