Havana's Beach location is situated on the strip of bars and restaurants close to the water in Haiwan Park. Havana is spacious, with a large outdoor seated area, and lavish wooden tables and chairs inside wrapping around the large central bar. Bands often play soothing latino music on the side stage, and the lights are kept dim to give this bar and restaurant an almost romantic vibe. The bar features a large selection of liquors, enabling the staff to make any cocktail you can imagine, from margaritas to Mojitos.Havana specializes in South American food, and the menu features an assortment of tapas, empanadas, and grilled items. The beef burritos are especially good.
A very popular place amongst expats and locals alike, Havana is a more relaxed version of the nearby Me and U2 bar, more suited for intimate conversations. Although they often have bands, the bands contribute to the relaxed atmosphere of the venue. Havana often throws special parties, like Halloween costume contests and dance nights, which, along with their changing live music selection, make this an entertaining place to visit any day of the week.
