Paradise is located a few bus stops from Xiamen University close to the water. With no outdoor seating, the bar is tastefully furnished with dim lighting, giving it an intimate feel. The wrap around bar serves every imaginable drink, beers on tap, and a large selection of wines. The manager is quite friendly, eager to chat, and is a huge fan of wines.The bar is a great place for a party, and is often hosting birthday parties, special events, and salsa parties. The many couches, large bar, pool table, and projection screen make it ideal for gatherings. Unfortunately, the bar is hit or miss. Sometimes the bar is packed, and other times it is completely dead. The bar's special, a 100RMB all you can drink deal on weekends draws is a great opportunity for parties, but again, sometimes fails to bring in a crowd.
