The Lucky Shamrock is a bar located within walking distance of the Marco Hotel on Guanren Road next to the Londoner. The bar has a small outdoor area next to the road, but the inside bar is large. The inside itself is narrow, but goes back far, with additional seating towards the back. The extensive bar features a large selection of liquors, including more difficult to find scotches and imported liquors. The bar also stocks a well maintained humidifier with Cuban cigars.The clientele often consists of business owners and businessmen in town staying at the Marco Polo, and as such, it can be an interesting place to make business contacts. The staff is very friendly, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about drinks and is always welcoming, often stopping by to chat with repeat clients. Like many bars in the area, The Lucky Shamrock has satelite TVs, and is often playing the latest sporting events. Although the bar does not serve its own food, the staff will gladly call local restaurants for delivery to the bar.
