Located in Zeng Cuo An close to the beach, the Red Armadillo is a cafe and restaurant serving western food. Not as boisterous as Haiwan Park, the Red Armadillo cultivates a more relaxed atmosphere. In it's two stories, the restaurants serves basic western staples like hamburgers and chilli. The outside patio is spacious and set amidst a garden, where the owners grow their own jalapenos, a rarity in this part of China.The Red Armadillo hosts cookouts and special seasonal menus. To combat the cold, the restaurant recently offered a chili menu, featuring BBQ chilli dogs, burgers, and kabobs.
