La Victoria is practically a tourism complex: upstairs is a ten-room hotel and downstairs is Xpujil's bus station, a 24-hour restaurant, convenience store, and internet/telephone center. It doesn't get much more "centrally located" than this inexpensive hotel locally owned by Martin Escalante Susana Yamina. The guest lodging offers safe, clean, simple accommodations – two singles and eight doubles – in off-white colored rooms trimmed with red and green. Beds are comfortable enough given the price and the bathrooms are clean. Rooms include plastic outdoor furniture, minisplit AC, and Sky cable TV.With buses arriving and departing in front of the hotel 24/7, of course Hotel La Victoria is a noisy place; ask for one of the rooms toward the back of the second floor to minimize this distraction. While here, eat at the restaurant downstairs or at Hotel Calakmul or Parador Maya after visiting the Mayan ruins at Xpujil, Becan, Chicanna, or Calakmul.
