Emerging culinary capital of the world, Barcelona is not only renowned for its Catalan tapas and Spanish sangria. Due to the vast amount of tourists and expats, Barcelona's restaurants span a wide range of sectors including a large number of international diners.
Our number two pick, is Asian influenced, yet it still has quite a diverse menu, including incredible pasta, meat and fish dishes. Salero is located in the heart of the Born, right off of Paseo del Born. In the summer it has a few tables outside for patio seating and is one of the most romantic pics in Barcelona.
Moving over to the other side of the tracks, our number four pick knows how to make a mean Sunday brunch. Milk Bar and Bistro is one of the only restaurants in the city which appreciates a good greasy spoon, or 'recovery breakfast' as they call it, while at the same time they have quite a lengthy lunch and dinner menu. They also have cheap cocktails daily until 9pm.
Head into the Raval and our number seven pick has brunch, lunch, dinner specials and excellent cocktails. Dostrece, always has something going on and throws great events every day of the week. Their downstairs stage and lounge area is perfect for dancing and live music, while their upstairs restaurant is cozy and spacious.
