Sir Garfield Sobers International Schools' Cricket Tournament

• Under the patronage of renowned Barbadian cricketer and national hero Sir Garfield Sobers, this annual cricket competition brings school teams from around the world to compete with their local and regional counterparts. Many a member of current international cricket teams received great exposure and instruction from their participation in this event. The tournament takes place throughout the month of July. Games are played at various venues throughout the island. Spectators can watch for free and should contact the Barbados Tourism Authority at the numbers provided for match fixtures and venues.
