  • Chicago may not seem like the most romantic destination, but you and your sweetheart will certainly feel the love in this amazing city. There is plenty of good food to eat, wine to drink, and most importantly great activities to get those sparks flying!

Chicago's downtown area is a spectacular place to begin. Wander through Millennium Park, making sure to take a picture by the "Bean," then hold hands with your honey on the ice skating rink right beneath the "Bean." Take a stroll up Michigan Avenue to admire the high-end stores lit up and sparkling during the holidays. End your journey at the Hancock Building, where enjoying dinner and drinks overlooking the city from the Signature Lounge on the 95th floor is a must.

Couples will be amazed by the beauty of the Chicago skyline from the Signature Lounge, but get an even better view on a cruise on Lake Michigan. Shoreline Sightseeing offers many options to enjoy the fantastic view!

If you are a couple that enjoys activities outside you will also enjoy exploring the Lincoln Park Zoo, or making the trek north of the city to wander through the lush gardens of the Chicago Botanic Gardens. The Garfield Park Conservatory will also warm your heart with its artful and warm landscapes.

No romantic Chicago weekend is complete without mentioning its great music and theater activities. Catch a show at the Chicago Theater, located right off of State Street within walking distance of Chicago's best shopping and restaurants. For something more laid back, snuggle over some popcorn at the indie movie theater, the Music Box Theatre.
