Wrap and Roll

Description:

  • This restaurant did for the fresh Vietnamese spring roll what Pho 24 did for beef noodle soup. It's a new chain restaurant that serves DIY spring rolls in a clean and friendly place. Signature dishes come with your choice of meat or seafood (I had grilled beef wrapped in grape leaves and highly recommend it) along with a big plate of assorted shrubbery like basil, mint, and lettuce, and a small pile of vermicelli noodles. Roll it all up in a rice paper wrapper and dip it in the bowl of fish sauce and it's a perfect sampling of a Vietnamese classic.
