The Shamrock is one of the longest running Irish bars in town, partly because of its location between the university and the English garden giving it a good crowd any night of the week. Typical Irish beer and pub food is a plenty, but also free local entertainment such as folk, country, rock, and acoustic perform every night of the week from 9pm until midnight. Its long reputation, musical entertainment, and great location make this one of the busiest Irish bars in town.
