NileGuide Expert tip:
Reserve a table outside on a warm day in the summer as this is a fabulous place for people watching.
Description:
The Spatenhaus, the flagship beer hall for the Spaten brewery, has an excellent location for people watching, breaks during sightseeing, or visits to the opera. It is right across from the National Theater and royal palace, the Residenz, as well as being right at the end of the famous high end shopping street, Maximilian strasse. This classy beer hall is more opera going crowd than traditional farmer, but has a menu that would fit at any beer hall and so is traditional and high end at the same time. Prices are higher than many of the cities other top beer halls, but again this is directly across from the national theater.
