Description:
Celebrity TV chef Siggi Hall doesn't do much of the actual cooking, but he conceptualizes the seasonal menu, actively oversees operations, and often hangs around chatting up customers amid the simple, laid-back decor. Dishes are highly refined but not too complicated: most are subtle improvements on classics, with an emphasis on local ingredients. Siggi's main inspirations are French and Spanish, and the excellent shellfish soufflé and bacalao (salt cod) probably won't ever vanish from the menu. If you see lamb with fried shank sausage, potatoes, vegetables, and rosemary-garlic jus, you're in for a treat. Siggi is rightfully proud of the wine menu.
