    The steak frites are justifiably famous throughout the city, and go very well with a glass of the house Merlot and some calamari to start. The ambiance doesn't hurt: the friendly, intimate neighborhood setting seems to enhance the quality of the food.

    • Diners from all over travel to this tiny restaurant to sample French flavors. The team behind Plouf established this restaurant to present the everyday food culture they grew up with in the south of France. Try out the small plates, from the mouthwatering artichoke salad drizzled with olive oil and studded with capers and lemon zest to the charcuterie plate loaded up with cornichons, spicy Dijon mustard and a pile of cured meat. If the tables begins to feel too tightly packed and the noise starts to prohibit casual conversation, just gaze out the two huge corner windows and dig into a dish of Gallic charm.

    • One of my favorite restaurants in the city even of it's a bit out of the way. The setting is so quaint, romantic, warm, and friendly. I have had some of my best dinners here....
