- The West Coast's largest oyster festival, which last year welcomed more than 15,000 guests, this year features live music from Cake, Jackie Greene, The Raveonettes and Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, plus of course, delicious local oysters from Drakes Bay Oyster Company. Down a few Guinness, take in the shuck and suck competition (which is just what it sounds like), learn a few of the many ways to cook oysters, and then listen to the fantastic live music, all from the spectacular confines of the Great Meadow at Fort Mason.
