- A long-running spot in Holland Village, Wala Wala Café Bar is a favorite of Singapore's expat community, locals, and tourists alike - possibly something to do with the all-day happy hours. Cocktails and pitchers of locally-brewed Tiger beer are the usual orders, though they also stock a full range of imported European beers on display near the bar. The food menu is shorter than the drink menu, but American-style bar snacks like pizzas, chicken wings, and stuffed jalapeños are served quickly and the taste is spot on. Wala Wala is one of the most popular places in the area to grab a drink, but really fills up on Friday and Saturday nights when local rock bands take the stage. - Tanya Procyshyn
