NileGuide Expert tip:
Book an outdoor table for a unique tropical dining experience. And don't forget to pre-order the Peking Duck!
Description:
- Housed in a two-storey black and white colonial bungalow, this stylish restaurant dishes up high quality fine dining Chinese cuisine. The modern Chinese interior provides a stylish and refined dining ambience for business or friendly get-togethers. However, it is the timber decked al-fresco area that really sets this restaurant apart from its peers. This beautiful garden setting is relaxed, intimate and romantic, the bright lights of the city a distant memory.
The restaurant's sumptuous version of Peking Duck is what keeps regulars returning time and again. Prepared by chefs from China according to an ancient Chinese recipe, these 'Legendary Wood Fired Crispy and Juicy Beijing Ducks' are roasted in a custom-made wood-fired oven, and should be booked ahead to avoid disappointment. Other signature dishes include Wasabi Prawns, Beef Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce, and their famous Durian desserts.
The restaurant has picked up many awards and accolades since its establishment in 2006, including Top 5 Finalist for "Best Dining Experience" for the inaugural Singapore Experience Awards 2009 by Singapore Tourism Board, Top 5 for "Best Chinese Cuisine Chef" and Top 5 for "Best Asian Cuisine Restaurant – Hotel" in Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards 2009 – 2011.

Good atmosphere but pricey
-
Situated in a converted "black and white" colonial house. Very nice dim sum at lunch but expensive for what it was.

This was a highlight of our trip. Everyone should eat there! The duck was amazing! It is a fair taxi ride out but worth it.
