- This elegant waterfront restaurant at the Esplanade Theater bears little resemblance to the original No Signboard - a humble market stall that couldn't afford a sign - but their savory seafood remains a Singapore icon.The star attraction is the crab (served in 3 styles: chili, white pepper, or butter) served with fried Chinese buns called mantou for mopping up the savory sauce. As tempting as it is to fill up on crab, try to save room for local creations like crispy cereal prawns, ginger bullfrog, or Hokkien-style steamed fish.
