Description:
- This comfortable old inn is located in the hot spring enclave of Kamasaki. It is a traditional two-story ryokan with a long history stretching from a time when feudal lords and samurai lounged in the hot baths. Food is also traditional and served in the room. It features delicious shellfish delicacies, with sake served in bamboo cups. There are separate indoor bathing facilities for men and women in large, old wooden tubs. Outside are several open-air pools. The water is classified sodium chloride with sulfur and is used to treat arthritis, rheumatism and other conditions.

古い宿が好きなら

東北道から近いので車だと行きやすい。 宿自体は古く、きれいに掃除しているものの 今時の旅館を想像する人には向いていません。 また、本館の方は部屋に鍵はあるものの 廊下と部屋は障子のような仕切りだけなので、声や廊下の物音が聞こえます。 一番良くなかったのは業務連絡が館内放送で、 少々、いやかなりうるさかったです。 ゆっくりとしたい方にはむいていません。 ...

鉄っぽいお風呂は温まりました

食事は高級な食材などは全く無く質素な雰囲気でしたが、朝夜とも部屋食でゆっくりできました。お風呂は鉄っぽい温泉でとても温まるいいお湯でした。
