- Yusaya Ryokan is a cozy Japanese-style inn with a lovely little garden and fantastic hot spring baths. There are separate bathing facilities for men and women. The indoor baths are in large, old wooden tubs. There are three types of water in different tubs. The simple thermal water is good for treating nervous tension, arthritis, rheumatism, and fatigued muscles. The sulfur water is good for heart problems, arteriosclerosis, and bronchial problems. The sodium chloride baths are good for post-operative rehabilitation, surface wounds, infertility, hypertension, and rheumatism. All the baths have a softening effect on the skin.
