Miyarabi

  • Cuisines: Asian, Japanese
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Okinawa is famous for its bitter vegetable, goya, which is not for everyone. Try it steamed or grilled up, and impress the other patrons if you end up liking it.

  • Description:

    • If you are yearning for a little bit of Southern hospitality, Southern Japanese hospitality that is, then stop by Miyarabi. On Monday, Thursday and Friday nights, you can find Miyarabi's ensemble of dancers perform traditional dances from around 8:30p. The food is homemade style and comes as separate dishes. Try to order a wide variety to really get a feel for Okinawan food. One recommended dish is pork cooked in miso, Okinawa sake and soy, with a little bit of hot mustard. It will be an experience you will not forget.
