  • The all encompassing cuisine of European delights is perfect on all counts because it involves everything from steak and frites, to creamy risottos and fresh Mediterranean cuisine and Vancouver has a number of delicious restaurants that will appeal to your taste buds.

La Brasserie is on Davie Street and their menu is fresh, comforting and simply delicious. The overall environment in The Village is so charming and it really evokes the classic bistro that bring locals back time and time again. The food is typical of a brasserie and is often hearty, but not overly rich. An ideal place for a simple dinner and a date night.

Twisted Fork isn't too far from La Brasserie and offers a similar environment and the food is prepared with love and passion, which translates into a delicious dinner. Not to mention, the price point is very reasonable, which makes it an easy place to go at the drop of a hat, or when a craving hits.

Medina and Chambar are sister restaurants and their influences tend to be from Europe. Both of these establishments never fail to impress the taste buds and the beauty is that you can go to Medina for breakfast or brunch and then head over to Chambar for dinner. The moules frites at Chambar are out of this world and worth a visit if that's the only thing you order.

If you're after a flaky pastry that will impress even the most discerning Frenchman, head to Boulangerie Cho Pain and get one of their pistachio croissants. They are to die for!

There are plenty of options to choose from if you're salivating for something European and this top ten list is just the tip of the iceberg.
