Yaletown is an area of Vancouver that has developed greatly in the last 20 years, which bodes well for its residents and local businesses. The area has every kind of restaurant from fresh sushi, tasty pizza, fabulous French cuisine and some of the freshest seafood in town.
Rodney's Oyster Bar is one of the best places to go in Vancouver if you are craving fresh oysters. They have an abundant amount of choice when it comes to oysters; large, medium and small, they have it all! Not to mention, when you're inside, it feels as though you have been transported to a coastal hideaway.
Speaking of seafood, Blue Water Cafe is the place to go in Vancouver if a five-star meal is what the doctor has ordered. They serve delectable dishes that will impress any guest and also have a fantastically fresh sushi bar that attracts the who's who of Vancouver. It's a pricey spot, but well worth it if you're looking for a splurge.
Brix is a romantic Yaletown gem that serves up European inspired cuisine. This restaurant has been around for some time and while many of its neighbors have closed their doors, and new ones have taken over, Brix has held a solid spot in Yaletown and continues to bring guest back for a sumptuous meal that they know will satisfy.
Cioppino's is also another long term Yaletown classic and when you visit this spot, you will be served only the best of the best. It's not a place that most people on a budget can go all the time, but should you have the option to treat yourself, you won't regret a meal here. Chef Pino puts his all into the menu and execution and his reputation is well respected in Vancouver.
The beauty about Yaletown is that restaurants are lined all along the streets, so if you're into restaurant hopping or the place you want to go is full, there are plenty of options within arms reach.
