Restaurants Near Robson Street in Vancouver

There is no shortage of amazing restaurants in Vancouver and we're spoiled when it comes to choice and type of cuisine. We have everything from French, to Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, West Coast, Italian, Spanish and the list can go on. You may find yourself spending a lot of time downtown Vancouver, particularly around the Robson Street area and here are just a few of the options that are all within walking distance, or right on the strip.

Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House has one of the best rooftop patios in Vancouver and it's the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon, while you enjoy some fresh oysters and seafood from their delicious menu. If it's raining, don't fret because the dining room is just as nice and has old school charm that compliments the fresh flavors on the menu.

If you're in the mood for Italian, CinCin is the place for you along Robson. They serve fantastic pastas that will impress even your Italian mamma!

Guu with Garlic is a local favorite Izakaya, which basically means Japanese small plates. It's the perfect place to go with a group of friends and order a bunch of items off the menu to share and enjoy with some beer or sake. Hapa Izakaya is also another very solid choice and is a little more sleek in its interior design, but both menus are delicious.

Diva at the Met is just off of Robson and is a splendid place to take anyone that you would like to impress. Many restaurants have a tough go standing the test of time, but Diva at the Met has proved that it's a restaurant that will be around in Vancouver for quite some time. It's refined, sleek and exquisitely delicious.

Bacchus is another hotel restaurant and is a popular place on most nights. The dark wood and warm fireplace are two ingredients that make this place so comforting and the perfect atmosphere to sip on a nice scotch and enjoy the complimentary nuts. The food is just as fabulous as the atmosphere, so come for a drink and stay for dinner!

When it's cold and rainy in Vancouver (which sometimes does happen), there's nothing better than a hot, steaming bowl of soup and Kintaro will hit the spot. The rich broth and homemade noodles create the perfect backdrop to the various topping you can add to your soup. Located right off of Robson on Denman Street, it's easily accessible by foot or bus.
