Off Beaten Path Attractions in Cabo San Lucas

A visit to Los Cabos is not complete until you have gotten out of the cities and experienced the full range of activities available in Baja California Sur. From outback safaris to diving the oldest living coral reef in the Western Hemisphere, there are many treasures to be discovered when you stray from the beaten track. The camel safari offered by Cabo Adventures is a good starting point, as it provides a guided hike that serves as an introduction to the flora and fauna in Baja. They also offer presentations on tortilla rolling and tequila tasting (a popular favorite). Other great options include allowing Amigos del Mar to take you diving at the incredible living reef near the small village of Cao Pulmo, or visiting the the mountain potters of La Candelaria, a traditional village east of Todos Santos.
