Festivals take place year round so you can join in the fun at anytime, they include the unusual Temple Bar's Chocolate festival, the Dublin theatre and film festivals, the Festival of World Cultures and the big green party on St. Patrick's Day. Most galleries, museums and cultural attractions are free for visitors so there is no excuse not to visit, just remember they often close on Mondays!
