Description:

Rarely has a name been so apt. The English translation of this flawless venue is 'delicious restaurant' and that pretty much sums up the experience. The concept is simple yet ingenious. Much of the best food in Vietnam can be found on the streets so the owners here have done the seemingly bleeding obvious by serving up these staples in the palatial surrounds of an old colonial villa. Thankfully this gentrification hasn't come at the cost of authenticity and the packed audience, which flocks here every night, is predominantly Vietnamese with a generous smattering of curious foreigners. The menu is extensive with dishes from around the country vying for the attention of diners. If you are fortunate enough to be dining with a local then you'll find navigation of the menu easy, if you are clueless and without assistance just take a stab in the dark – it's all good. Particularly exemplary are the salads, especially the goi ngo sen (lotus stem salad with shrimp and pork).
