At boudoir-themed Varga Lounge , sip signature tipples like the absinthe-and-pineapple Green Fairy among images of ’50s pinup girls and retro furniture

NileGuide Expert tip:
Nominted as one of three best cocktail lounges in Hong Kong, together with Salon de Ning at Peninsula Hotel and Dada Bar at Luxe Manor by HK magazine.
Beachy girls, cocktails, oversized posh sofas, is what I immediately got as I walked into Varga Lounge, a uniquely themed bar lounge in Soho Hong Kong. Bringing a mix of internationalism from France and the States by designing the two floors with their respective countries in mind, boudoir, Chinoiserie for France and a flashy Vegas bachelor's pad for America.
Take your pick! Inspiring artwork by Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren fill this venue in style and you'll find yourself with a clear and close view of one of these pictures wherever you are in the bar. Admire them as you sip at your Poultry Puss cocktail or on one of the latest craze in drinking, balsamic vinegar beverages. Yes, strange but strangely drinkable and I bet you'll want a second helping.
Add to this some of their old-school lounge music and you're in for a good ole time. Varga consist of two floors. The upstairs can handle 20 people, making it perfect to reserve for small private functions. The entire venue holds 60 people and can also be rented out.
