City Center Hotels in Oslo

Hotels in Oslo's city centre are excellent if you're exploring the city with time contraints, as you're right in the thick of things. At the Central railway station end of Karl Johansgate, you'll find several hotels, including the cool Clarion Collection Hotel Bastion. There are also Thon Hotel Opera, Scandic Byporten (in Byporten shopping mall) and many others. Lodgings further along main street Karl Johan include the fabulous Grand Hotel and Continental Hotel, as well the slightly more moderately priced Best Western Karl Johan. One block away are the elegant Bristol hotel, the traditional hotels Bondeheimen and Hotel Stefan, the new design hotel G20 and the budget option P-hotels.
