Cool Things To Do in Zion National Park

What are the best cool things to do in Zion? The famous hikes...the secret hikes...the unexpected hikes. What makes them cool activities to do in Zion? The hot tips you'll get about them here!

Angels Landing and the Zion Narrows are on just about everyone's list of things to do when they visit Zion, for good reason. They're totally cool! Angels Landing is a thigh-burner of a hike that propels you to what seems like the top of the clouds. And the Narrows are perhaps the most sublime representation of nature's beauty in a slot canyon. Either way, your hip cat street cred will get a boost when you complete these signature trails.

Emerald Pools and Observation Point are equally cool because they are simply so breathtaking. Observation Point also has perhaps the best photogprahic viewpoints in Zion. The West Rim Trail is a stunner of a backpack that reveals jaw-dropping beauty, not to mention it's a workout to be proud of.

Chinle Trail is far less-known, but it's an amazing winter hike that shows off views that rival any in Zion. Bonus? So few people know about it, it becomes instantly hip due to its low profile.

Northgate Peaks, Kolob Arch, and Taylor Creek all grace the undervisited northern section of Zion, the Kolob Canyons area. Northgate is a hidden gem that's great for families, Kolob Arch is the world's second longest arch, and Taylor Creek offers a surprisingly green side of Zion. Trust us, they're super cool.
